For this project we are using pine lumber reclaimed from a 100 year-old barn (see figure 2). This design has been tested with up to 300 lbs and ensures that your coffin will safely transport your lost loved one for funeral and burial or cremation. Notice this coffin is 18 inches deep--a little deeper than most coffins.
